Etlingera elatior

Etlingera elatior, commonly known as “torch ginger” is a herbaceous perennial plant native to Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and New Guinea. It belongs to the ginger family (Zingiberaceae) and is known for its pink flowers and diverse medicinal properties. The plant is widely cultivated in Southeast Asia and is used in various culinary and medicinal applications.
