Citrus aurantifolia

Citrus aurantifolia, commonly known as key lime or Mexican lime, is a small, evergreen citrus tree that belongs to the Rutaceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia but is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions worldwide. Flavour wise it is  highly aromatic and sour, with a more intense flavor than other lime varieties. It is frequently used in Indonesia as a garnish to enhance flavours of curries and soups. It is also often used in other cuisines such as in mexico on tacos and ceviches.
